Emergency Storm Damage - Tree Wiped Out Home

Hi, my name is Lillith. I’m hoping to raise funds for emergency shelter for myself, my twin Eve, her husband Brian, their daughter Aya, and our 6 cats; and repairs to our house in Pollock Pines, California. A gust of wind from the atmospheric river event brought down a neighbor’s very large tree from the street behind our house and it cracked the house open, broke through our roof, obliterated the bathroom and part of Eve and Brian’s bedroom. The fire dept shut off our electricity and gas. Insurance is not being very assiduous about emergency shelter and we are facing increasing winds and flood/rain is on the way; they want us to pay it all out of pocket.

Funds will be used for emergency shelter for us and the cats, food, a generator if we can, firewood if necessary, and whatever it takes to rebuild the house.
