UPDATE: I have selected Matlacha Hookers, Inc. (Don’t let the name fool you ) a 501c who has been very active on Pine Island since 1998 asisting the community. Along with myself , Kevin Russel and the ladies of Matlacha Hookers we will make sure the immediate needs of the residents on the Island are met as best as we can with the funds raised.

My name is Gaby Hall, I have a personal love for Pine Island and the people who live there. No one really knew about Pine Island or the charm this old Florida outer west coast Island had. It was a hidden gem now destroyed by Hurricane Ian. Many residents have lived there for 30+ years, many in mobile homes and older homes. The entire infrastructure has been destroyed, the road to the Island collapsed making access available only by boat or helicopter. Government aide is extremely slow and more focus is given to the big money areas such as Sanibel and Fort Myers Beach.

i don’t live on the Island, I have a house there which appears to have survived.

We are in need of building and clean up suppliers which are expensive. We hope to make this happen quickly to get some order on the Island soon.
