Emergency Support Needed for saving our home

Hello, my name is junior. I'm an artist base in miami.
Just about seven years ago, I faced one of the most challenging experiences of my life when a fire consumed my apartment. In the chaotic scene that unfolded, I lost everything - my possessions, crucial identification documents, and two years' worth of hard work. But amidst the tragedy, I am forever grateful for the precious lives I was able to rescue - my beloved dogs, Francesco, Georgeno, and Giuseppe.
I can still vividly recall that day, witnessing the frenzy of first responders and neighbors gathered around the fiery blaze that was my home. Despite the initial horror of discovering my apartment was the one on fire, one thought dominated my mind - saving my dogs. With a deep breath and adrenaline pumping, I braved the fiery inferno to ensure their safety.
Thanks to some quick thinking, I was able to protect myself with wet linens and navigate through the blinding smoke. After what felt like an eternity, I found my dogs and carried them out to safety. Though we sustained minor injuries and had a frightening brush with danger, we made it out alive - homeless, but alive.
Financially, I was hit hard as I hadn't taken rental insurance. Suddenly, my dogs and I were left with no choice but to depend on the kindness of friends, couch-surfing from one place to another while trying not to impose too much. Through this challenging time, I experienced both the bitter and sweet sides of friendship. I lost touch with some "good" friends who chose not to contact me throughout my ordeal. , but was also amazed by the generosity of others, some of whom I barely knew.
Fast forward to three years later, after saving diligently, I managed to purchase an apartment in Miami. Now that I had a roof over my head, it was time to deal with a health issue I had been neglecting due to financial constraints - an inguinal hernia. Just as we had scheduled the surgery, the world was hit by the pandemic, and my surgery was postponed.
Over the next year and a half, my condition worsened dramatically, causing excruciating pain and leading to some rather distressing self-care routines. Finally, the surgery took place, but it didn't bring the relief I had hoped for. Instead, It made things worse. I was left with chronic pain, and after two years, countless doctors' visits, some holistic approaches, acupuncture, and many unfruitful emergency room trips, no one could explain why.
While dealing with all this, I neglected to pay my property taxes and my maintenance. It will go to foreclosure soon. Im about to lose my home. Recently, I found a specialist in Los Angeles who might have the answers I need. However, I can't go and take care of my surgery untill i know my home is safe.
It is a bitter pill to swallow, asking for help. I have always prided myself on my independence, on being able to stand on my own two feet. However, my circumstances have shown me that it's okay to reach out when you need support.
This plea is not just for me, it's for my family - my dogs, Francesco and Georgeno, who've been with me for a decade, as well as the newer additions, Bella and Marcello. We were once homeless, and the thought of returning to that life is something I cannot bear, especially after working so hard to buy this apt.
Giuseppe may no longer be with us, but his memory serves as a reminder of our strength and resilience. I am humbly asking for your support in our time of need. Every contribution, big or small, will help us tremendously in keeping our home.
I have tried every possible avenue to keep afloat, from working different jobs to tightening my belt as much as I can. However, the financial burden of my medical condition, coupled with the need to maintain our home, has placed an immense strain
This is why I am reaching out to you and the larger GoFundMe community. Your donations will directly contribute to the costs associated with keeping our home and some of my medical bills But more than that, your support would give us a chance to overcome this challenging phase of our lives, and look forward to a brighter future.
Nobody should ever feel that they are alone in facing their struggles, and I have learned that it's okay to seek help. Whether you can donate or not, your prayers, good vibes, and shared stories are deeply appreciated., I am confident that we will weather this storm.
If you have any questions, please feel free to reach out to me directly. Thank you once again for your kindness and consideration. Your generosity will never be forgotten.
With heartfelt gratitude,
Junior fajardo
