Emergency Surgeries for Milo, My Beloved Dog
Donation protected

As hard as it is to set my pride aside as I write this and ask for help, for my baby boy, I will do about anything. Milo is my child, my pride and joy, my everything. I don't know what I would do without him, which is why I sit here and reach out to y'all for help with Milo's emergency surgeries, a total of 4 to be exact.
It started off Thursday night last week when I noticed he had a huge ball of an internal part hanging out of his rectum, and I rushed him to the urgent care here in town. He wasn't in pain or lethargic. He was still acting himself, playful and joyful. For those of y'all that met Milo before, y'all know he is such a sweetheart and gentle with kids. But the vet then told me that he has a prolapsed rectum and prostate cancer. When I was told this, my heart dropped. The vet then said he will need surgery right away, so he had his first surgery that night to remove the cancer, which thankfully has been cleared. Later that night, I was able to bring him home, but the following morning it was worse, so I rushed him to a vet beachside, and they stated he will need another surgery right away and was misdiagnosed. It was not a prolapsed rectum; it was a hernia that was so bad he pushed his bladder through his rectum, which was hanging out at this point. So the doctor performed surgery, then called me and stated I need to drive to Tallahassee to Capital Vet Specialist for them to continue the surgery because he did not feel comfortable continuing this type of surgery due to him not being a specialist. I appreciated his honesty and took Milo the following morning to Tallahassee, about 2 hours away, to see the new vet! They were great; they took him right away and reassured me that they can perform the surgery and have been very successful. I started crying like a big baby because it was relieving to hear that it is possible and they will do what they can. They successfully did the surgery, and Milo is currently still the happy puppy he is while healing.
We all know vets can be VERY expensive, but we also would do anything for our furbabies if you can relate. So now I'm stuck paying $1800 for the first surgery, $2900 for the second surgery, and $3555 for the last surgery, so I'm currently $8,255 in debt with his bills. I am struggling a bit, but it always comes together. I am reaching out in a sense if anyone can help out in any way for a sense of relief for saving my baby boy Milo. I'm not asking for the full amount, as of course, I'm going to try my best to pay as much as I can with this emergency because he is my child. But yes, I'm setting my pride aside and reaching out for help. No donation is too small and very much appreciated, and if you can't, that's fine too. I know we all have our own struggles and battles. Just taking the time to read this and hear me out is amazing enough already. Even a small gesture as a simple share of this posting would be amazing. I can't express the gratitude in just doing so. I love y'all, family, friends, strangers near or far. Hug your furbabies a little harder today because we never know what emergency might happen. :/
Thanks again, fam, for hearing me out. Have a blessed evening
