Emergency Surgery for our Adventurous Noodle

Hey yall,

My name is Mandi and I am setting this gofundme for an emergency surgery that we need for one of our ferrets, Nami.

Nami is an michevious and adventurous soul full of energy and who is not afraid of anything, much to my dismay. I find her running the halls, wrestling with her ferret sister and occationally finding herself in spots she shouldnt be. She is my crazy girl with no fear of heights, always actively looking to be out of the cage and free roaming. I've even had to catch her as she attempts to freedive off my shoulder! As wild as she is, she is still my sweet girl that I care for so deeply.

Recently I noticed that she was limping slightly on her right front leg and grew concerned. I gently touched her arm and it did not seem to phase her. Nonetheless, we scheduled an appointment for her to be xrayed. I was nervous it may be some kind of tumor, but we learned that unfortunately her little front right leg was both fractured and dislocated! I was beside myself. I had no idea what actually happened to her to cause the damage, but all that mattered is that we fix the issue at hand so she could be healed. Her vet team assured us she would be ok, as long as she was scheduled for a surgery to fix the issues in her tiny little arm, poor thing. Unfortunately, we are a bit short to cover the whole bill.

A little background on our situation is that I am currently 8 months pregnant with our first child, which is so exciting, however the old adage of "when it rains, it pours" comes to mind when thinking about this third trimester so far. I had been in and out of the hospital for about 3 or so in january with kidney stones and unfortunately had to stop working a bit earlier in my pregnancy then initially expected. Baby & I are solid and back on track now, so we are good there, however, with a few unexpected medical bills hitting us, we are a bit short for the remainder of Nami's surgery costs, which leads me to this GoFundMe page.
