Emergency Surgery for our sweet dog Thor

Hello, my name is Gail Burton, and I truly appreciate you taking a moment to read my story.

I am a working chef and single mother of a 16 year old boy. My son and I welcomed a new puppy, Thor a Bernadoodle into our family 2 years ago, the same time my son was diagnosed with Type 1 diabetes.

It was a very difficult time. Thor, with his kind disposition, helped us deal.

My son and I have been blindsided by the recent diagnosis of our 2yr old Bernadoodle, Thor just received.

The growth on his back paw was first noticed June 15, 2023.

Many appointments and emergency visits have led us to this point.

Thor has been diagnosed with a subcutaneous hemangiosarcoma... CANCER.

This type of cancer is very unusual in a dog that is so young. This cancer will not spread but will continue to grow leaving the only option... Amputatation of his back leg.

The cost of helping Thor is too much for me to carry on my own.

Any money donated will be used to secure the medical treatment Thor requires.

Amputation is the only treatment that will save his life.
