Emergency Surgery Medical Bills for Selena (Kali)
Donation protected
Selena/Kali was found on the side of the road in Oraldno around March and just had a recent litter. She was extremely malnourished and dehydrated when she arrived at a shelter. She was going to be put down due to space on April 11th at 5pm, but was rescued from a kind soul that flew down from Canada. She made her way to Chicago and was in foster care with people who quickly fell in love with her.
Early July she started showing signs of illness, nausea and vomiting. When she got to the vet, they needed to perform emergency surgery to remove any foreign objects from her small intestines. Once on the operating table, the doctor noticed a foreign object in her large insteine, complicating the surgery.
She is a sweet, strong girl who wants to live! The surgery and aftercare are beyond what her foster parents can pay, but her will to survive is so strong.
We are seeking assistance in her adoption, surgery, and aftercare for now. We have so much hope that she will pull through. If things were to turn for the worst, we want to give her comfortable end of life care. Any donations are greatly appreciated. Thank you so much for reading and considering adding a donation.
