Contribute to Nidaa's family Survival & Evacuation from Gaza

Hi! My name is Meg and I am a child therapist in the U.S. choosing to support families in Gaza directly. I have added supporting families in this crisis to my budget and will not stop until people are truly safe. My own government cares nothing for human life and it has become more and more clear in the past several years, that ONLY WE KEEP US SAFE AND ONLY WE ARE GOING TO SHOW UP FOR ONE ANOTHER! So, I encourage each of you to do the same. Whether you engage directly with families in Palestine as well, or choose Go Fund Me campaigns to fund regularly. It is time we show up for one another. Only we will make this world a different and better place!

I am currently speaking with a mother of four children who have been displaced from North Gaza to Rafah. Rafah is not safe right now and they need immediate funds to leave the areas currently under attack!

Mother Nidaa, Father Ismail, and four children Qusay 16yr old, Hassan 13 yr old- who need urgent medical attention, Muhammad 11 yrs old, and Adnan is 5 yrs old.

Funds will be used first to relocate Nidaa and Hassan to medical care in Egypt, as this is urgent.

The remaining funds will ensure that Ismail and their other children get to Egypt as well. At this time Egypt is charging $5,000 per person to cross the border! The funds will also be used to support the family to stay together, which will also provide them basic needs such as food, shelter, and the replacement of basic personal needs and household needs.

A message from Nidaa:

Hello, we are a displaced family from northern Gaza to Rafah. Our house was bombed and we lost all our possessions. We are a family consisting of a father, mother and 4 children. There is a child in the family who suffers from an electrical surge, as does the father, and there is another child who suffers from speech difficulties. They need severe care. The situation is very difficult here in southern Gaza, where we suffer from hunger and difficulty obtaining basic resources for survival. Please help the family and help the children to live and fulfill their dreams.

This is the picture set that Nidaa requested I use originally. The goal for the fundraiser in the beginning, May 2024, was to ensure that Hassan was able to evacuate in order to receive medical care for his heart condition. Now in November, we are working to ensure that he and his siblings have a meal every day. As the situation deteriorates around them, basic needs such as simple foods, soaps, blankets, and become nearly impossible to find. Once found, the prices are so high, that they have to choose between items, meaning no blankets or soap in order to buy food. We must show ongoing support for this family and all families in Gaza!
