Emergency Travel Fund Emma's Funeral Arrangements

Dear Community,

Robyne, Mark, Ari, Ashlen, and Juliet just learned that their eldest child and sibling, Emma, was shot in the chest and killed on Sunday, November 13, 2022 outside of the Bay Area in California. Emma was 31 years old. She was living in a community of friends. As with any sudden death of a loved one, the family is caught off guard financially. They need to make an emergency flight to Emma's place of residence and take care of her things and prepare her body for burial in that locale to stay within Baha'i burial law of burying Emma where she died.

They arrived in CA and have learned that the burial cost in CA will be $17K. This is much more than they had even anticipated. They would be so grateful if you could assist them at this devastating time.

They are so thankful for the prayers and comfort everyone has been sharing with them. They hope they can ensure that Emma's physical body is handled with love and care before it is laid to rest. They know her soul is soaring in the Celestial Kingdom, surrounded in love and acceptance.
