Emergency Veterinary fees for Ossie and Trixie

This past Wednesday, while visiting my close friend Tristan, her two dogs Trixie and Ossie were hit by a pickup truck on a quiet road in Pittsfield. Our two young sons saw the whole thing. We rushed both dogs to the vet hospital where we found out Trixie had two collapsed lungs and a chest full of blood. They were unable to save her. Ozzie was in very rough shape and suffered a severe brain injury, we were not sure he’d recover from. As of this morning he ate for the first time and was able to pee on his own, he cannot stand unassisted yet but he is awake and more alert! After two days with nearly no signs of improvement and fearing the worst, we have hope that he will fully recover.

My name is Nicole and I have started this gofundme to help Tristan and her family get through this tough time with a little less stress by helping to cover the vet costs. Ossie is home and while he is doing much better he will still need to be seen by the vet regularly for an unforeseen amount of time.
