Emer's Journey from Nice to Lourdes

My name is Emer Keaveney , on March 23rd I am taking on this challenge I've always wanted to do. I am cycling 1000kms in seven days across France, from Nice to Lourdes with 75 other cyclists, including 5 members of Leitrim Cycle Club. We are cycling to raise much needed funds for Irish Pilgrimage Trust. Each cyclist must raise €3,000 and all monies raised will go directly to the charity for the purpose of providing young people with additional needs with volunteer supported holiday breaks to Lourdes and on summer breaks in Ireland. Each cyclist must cover its own cost of this trip. On this journey I will remember my mam Peggy, who I lost last year and also little Kate a niece of a good friend of mine.
