Emersens scoliosis journey

Hi I'm Emersen, I'm a 14 year old girl from Missouri. I was diagnosed with minor scoliosis the middle of my 7th grade year, but becuse it was only 12° there wasent any treatment available. I was still in pain doing gymnastics and other sports and activities, I was only getting and average of 6 hours of sleep per night becuse if pain and I would take ibuprofen daily. Soon my pain wasent getting better it was getting worse, my parents were worried and didn't like seeing there child in this much pain. They began researching about ways to help with pain, finally they found a doctor that specializes in scoliosis and they got me an appointment! I went in for my first appointment on April 10th 2023, he said my scoliosis has increased since at cyropractic care and we would set up a one week intensive program to lower ny scoliosis, then June 19th-June 23rd I was in the doctor's everyday to help my scoliosis. That last day I was in the office they took x-rays to compare and found out my scoliosis had went from 20° to 30° just in a week. Becuse of that information later we found out my hips where verry uneven and I was hyper flexible we also found out one leg was longer than the other. We would go in for visits every two to three weeks and they scheduled me for at home therapys. after continuing with the at home therapys I went in for another doctor's visit on Friday October 27th he took new posture pictures and new x-raya to find out I'm now a sever scoliosis case and I'm getting worse and worse. I'm now at 38° and at the risk for potential spinal surgery. I'm having to do a very expensive 2 week intensive and get a scoliosis brace as well as a lot of MRI testing. Which all together is lots and lots of money, so I created a go fund me so I can hopefully fit my spine and still be able to have a childhood wile I can. Thank you! ❤️
