Emersyn Grace

A very good friend of mine is enduring the unimaginable. Her baby who is not even 1 years old was just diagnosed with cancer. Danielle is an amazing Mom and is also an extremley hard working Nurse. She is going to need to take time off to be with her baby during these hard times they are facing and I would like to try and help relieve some of the financial stress that comes with that. Anything helps even if it’s just a prayer. You can read her story below.

Emersyn Grace Weyant was a happy healthy 11 month old. On February 28th we noticed a hard spot on the left side of her abdomen.  Her Doctor assured us it was from new food habits.  On March 16th we took her back to the Doctor where he felt a mass and immeditely ordered xrays confirming his suspicion.  We were admitted to Kaiser March 17th.  She has since had a CT scan and a diagnosis of a Wilms Tumor better known as Nephroblastoma. She is scheduled for surgery for Friday, March 22nd where they will remove her tumor as well as her left kidney.  She will then be required to have chemotherapy with the possibility of radiation if the tumor ruptures during surgery.
