Emilee & Michael’s IVF Journey to Baby Hutzler
Donation protected
Hi friends and family! As many of you know, we have a younger sister, Emilee Hutzler, who’s married to her husband Michael. After multiple doctors appointments, and subsequent surgeries over the years due to Emilee having ulcerative colitis, it has been a major challenge for them to get pregnant and grow their family. We’re reaching out to you today to invite you to join us as we support them on the next step of their journey, starting IVF. This is a very expensive process, one we are relying on the Lord to show up and make possible. It’s at this point, that they have prayerfully decided to open their hearts and share their story. You can read their story below and join them first, by praying for them, that God would do a miracle in their life, whether that be through healing our sister’s body and allowing them to get pregnant on their own, or by providing the means through IVF to get pregnant. Secondly, if you feel in your heart that you’d like to join them financially, we’ve created this GoFund Me to make that possible. Whether it’s $50 or $5, we pray that every dollar given would be blessed in His name. To Him be the glory always. Please see below to hear more directly from their hearts as they tell you about their story!

“Hello friends! As many of you know, in 2013 Emilee was admitted into the hospital to be diagnosed with acute fulminate ulcerative colitis and to have an emergency, life altering surgery that would remove her entire colon. After that she would go on to have a total of 5 major surgeries to help restore her quality of life. In 2014, Emilee moved to costa mesa for college where we met, fell in love, and in 2019 were married. We knew that there was a likelihood it could be difficult for us to become pregnant due to the number of surgeries Emilee has had and the amount of scar tissue resulting from them. To add to the complication, we discovered quickly into this journey that her right fallopian tube is completely blocked with fluid. Even so, we continued to pray and believe that we would become pregnant naturally. After 3 and a half years of trying, and numerous conversations with doctors, we have come to the conclusion that our best chance to have our dream of becoming parents come true, is to do IVF. One of the obvious challenges with pursuing IVF is the financial piece, and unfortunately it is not covered by insurance. While we do our best to work towards this goal it is a heavy challenge for us to meet on our own. The passed 3 and a half years have been hard, and full of a lot of tears and grieving. Our hearts are full of longing to bring children into the world to love, disciple them and teach them how much they are loved by Jesus. The decision to have this posted wasn’t something we have taken lightly, and we do so appreciate any way that you partner with us in our journey to becoming parents, whether that’s through prayer or giving. We truly cannot wait to meet our future baby.”
With Love,
Michael and Emilee
