Emilie Meza

I am starting this go fund me for my sister Roxie Meza (@couponroxie10) as her family is going through a hard time since there 10 month old sweet Emilie was recently diagnosed with actue myeloid leukemia.

Emilie started chemotherapy about 1 1/2 months ago. Emilie recently had a bone marrow biopsy, this test showed that emilie will need to have a bone marrow transplant. As devastating as hearing your child has cancer I can only imagen what my sisters pain is in hearing that Emilies chemo treatment alone will not help cure her and will be submitted to a lot more procedures.

From chemo, various medications with side affects, bone marrow biopsy, lumbar punctures and radiation for Emilie's small body. The family has 3 months to find a donar for baby Emilie she will need the marrow after two more treatments of chemo.

For the moment there family will be staying strong to keep things as normal as possible for Emilie and her 3 siblings.

This go fund me will be to help the Meza family with any food, gas, toll payments to cross the skyway bridge, or any expenses there family will need to get through this difficult time since Roxie will not be working to be with Emilie as she will have to stay at the hospital for this process that takes many months up to a year depending on if Emilies how Emilie's body reacts to everything, please consider donating the last thing this family need is a financial burden.

Anything that you can give will be very much appreciated. Sometimes we might think that $1.00-$5.00 might not make a difference but for someone in need it truly does.

Today for the Meza family, tomorrow maybe for yours. Imagen being the parent of your child that needs a transplant to save there life?? No one should go through this heartache.

We ask god to give there family the strength to get through this difficult time and to give sweet baby Emilie's body the strength to tolerate the chemotherapy and for a successful match and donar to save Emilie.
