Emily and Zoe Rollins Medical bills
On Monday night (Apr 19, 2021) Emily and Zoe Rollins were driving home in the snowstorm from Thompson Valley High School volleyball practice when they slid off the icy road and rolled down an embankment. Both girls were ejected and Emily was trapped under the vehicle.
Both girls are in critical condition, one at MCR in Loveland and the other at Children’s Hospital in Denver. They are receiving excellent care, but there is a long road of healing and recovery ahead. Zoe’s back was broken in two places and her spinal cord was injured. Emily had both lungs collapse, two pelvic fractures and a lacerated spleen. Both are lucky to be alive, and we are thankful for that, but they will require lots of physical and occupational therapy.
