Emily Chittick Funeral Expenses

We lost our bright, beautiful, fierce Emily on Thursday, September 8. Though Emily was only with us thirty-four years, those years were packed full of meaning and purpose and dedication as she cared for others throughout her nursing career. Though Emily spent her life suffering from her own chronic health problems, she never stopped serving her patients to her fullest.

She was raised most of her life by her single mother, Michele, after her father's early death. Emily began fighting her health and pain issues at a young age, her mom always by her side, with the severity increasing in the last few years. She had several hospitalizations and even survived two severe cases of sepsis. As with countless others in this country, medical problems came with substantial financial burdens that impact her life greatly. And unfortunately, these burdens don't disappear after death. We are asking for help with her funeral expenses to help ease some of this burden for her family.

Emily spent her life serving in underprivileged areas saving lives, helping victims of violent crimes, and using her compassion and care to help others in pain while silently suffering from her own. We thank you all in advance for any contributions you can make.
