Emily Lockley

On the 6th February 2024, our beautiful sister Emily sadly passed away during labour. Emily is suspected to have suffered from a Pulmonary Aneurysm, which then caused damage to her heart. Resuscitation was performed on Emily, however she could not be saved. We are currently awaiting Emily’s postmortem to come back, so we know the reason of why and how this has happened.

Emily was a 26 year old woman, who dreamed to be a mother her entire life. Emily kept her little boy so safe and spoke daily about how excited she was to finally have her dream life.

Emily had no known medical conditions, before or during her pregnancy. So as you can imagine, this has come as a huge shock to us all as a family. No one ever prepares you for something so awful to happen, especially to a young, low risk, healthy woman.

Emily’s little boy Harley was born a healthy 8lb 1oz, and spent the first week of his life in the NICU. He is now at home and healthy.
