Emily Long's Fire Fund
On Monday, 9/11/2017, tragedy struck Emily Long and her family as they endured the devastating loss of their home due to an electrical fire. Those in the home were able to escape the smoke and flames, except for their sweet family dog, Louie.
Emily(26 years old) is a loving mother, teacher and wife. Her kind and supportive family includes her amazing husband Timothy (30), who is a loving father and son, that stays home as the sole caretaker of his disabled father David (58) suffering from Parkinson's disease, whom also resides in their home. Timothy and Emily recently became first time parents to a beautiful baby girl named Ami Rei, who will be 5 months old on the 17th of September. Having just returned from maternity leave a few months ago, Emily and her family were finally beginning to recuperate from her time off.
As the house is considered a total loss, along with all of their memories and belongings, at this time we are asking for monitary donations, as well as some clothing items (men size 2x, 44x30, shoe sizes 12 and 13. Womens size 2x, 16/18, shoe size 10. Baby size 6-9 mo and size 3 seventh generation diapers only due to the baby's allergic reaction to other brands). As this tragic event unfolds so will the outcome of their insurance coverage. At this moment, they are in the unknown left without an immediate plan or hopes for a prompt long term living arrangement. If you think of anything that may help aid in the comfort for them while stying at a hotel, it would be welcomed.
