Emily Woldt, a caring and beautiful daughter, sister, aunt, friend, and nurse, passed away unexpectedly in her home in Prescott, Arizona on July 30, 2023 at the age of 28. Emily is at home with her Savior, whom she loved and lived for.

Emily's passion for serving others was evident in the compassionate care she provided as a registered nurse. She cherished her time spent serving patients and families in Winona, MN, Milwaukee, WI, Bloomington, MN, and most recently started a new adventure as a travel nurse in Arizona. Although initially cautious about moving so far away from her family, she trusted in God's perfect guidance. He led her to Prescott, where she ended up finding a feeling of belonging with like-minded co-workers and roommates who welcomed her with open arms. She marveled at God's beautiful creation daily and was delighted to call Prescott her new home.

The love and joy Emily exuded each and every day was infectious. Her family, friends, co-workers, and patients can easily attest to the shining light Emily so effortlessly cast into every room she entered. She loved others for who they were and where they were at in life, no questions asked. Philippians 4:13 was her favorite bible passage, as her friends and family know. She used the assurance from that verse as her confidence in life. "I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me."

Emily is survived by her parents Jon and Donna Woldt, brother Joshua Woldt, sisters Karen Brennhofer (Rick) and Anna Woldt (special friend Michael), niece and nephew Madison and Micah Brennhofer, as well as their new sibling (February 2024), maternal grandmother Karen Herman, and paternal grandmother Ruth Woldt. She is also survived by many loving aunts, uncles, and cousins.

Emily is preceded in death by her brother David Woldt, maternal grandfather Roger Herman, and paternal grandfather Alfons Woldt.

A Christian Memorial Service will be held at St. Mark Lutheran Church in Mankato, MN on August 26, 2023 at 11:00 AM (CST) to celebrate the life of Emily. Visitation will begin at 10:00 AM (CST). The family invites everyone for food and fellowship at the church following the service. Any updates will be posted here.
