Emily Matos Car Accident Fund

Family and friends,

We started this GoFundMe for our cousin, Emily Matos. Emily was in a very serious car accident on her way home from work Monday morning. Thankfully, the doctors say she will recover, but it’s is going to be a long road to get there. She sustained several serious injuries including multiple fractures, a broken sternum, pelvis, hip, arm, and injuries to her knees and feet. She underwent her second surgery on February 8th to place pins and a plate in her radius, which went well, but she will be out of work for the time being until she can recover from these injuries. Luckily, she is surrounded by people who love her and support her, but between extensive medical bills, loss of income, and regular expenses, every little bit goes a long way. Please consider donating if you would like to help her during this time so she can focus on what is most important-recovery and healing. Emily is one of the kindest people in the world. She enjoys going to concerts, playing with her dog, and spending time with her family and friends. She is also still in college continuing her education.
