Emily McDowell's Celebration of Life

To everyone who may not yet have heard the news, Emily Diane McDowell died following a tragic car accident on February 1, 2020. What has happened is beyond comprehension and everybody is still in shock.
Emily was an absolutely beautiful woman who loved being in nature. She loved practicing yoga and was such a talented photographer. Her spirit and personality lit up a room and she loved her family and friends so deeply! She was newly promoted at her job and was so excited for the bright future ahead of her which was unfortunately cut short.
Emily is daughter and step daughter to Jeff and Kym McDowell and daughter to Kelli Moffitt- McDowell. She is sister to Jeffrey McDowell Jr., Alexzandria McDowell, Rachael Hurley, and her husband Chris, Tim Lennon and his wife Bernadette and Matthew Silks.
Emily's sister, Alexz, was tragically killed in a car accident 6 years prior. The unspeakable pain that this family is experiencing is why we have created this fundraiser to help cover the associated costs.
The family has already had numerous emails, texts and messages from people asking how to help, so this campaign has been created as a way to keep everyone up-to-date with plans, and also offer a place for messages and donations to be left.
Emily's celebration of life will take place on Thursday February 6th, 2020 from 4:00pm-7:00pm with funeral service beginning at 6:00pm. This will be held at Evans Funeral Chapel at 3 Newport Drive Forest Hill, Maryland 21050.
