Support Emily Straw on her journey...
Hey...
If you are reading this, then you will know and love the wonderful, determined, strong, funny, crazy, loving, kind, caring Emily Straw! As most of you know, Emily was diagnosed with secondary breast cancer at the end of May, withthe devastating news that it’s terminal. The NHS offered her chemo, but this would not cure the cancer, just prolong the pain and suffering, giving her about 3 years to live, but with little quality of life. After going through this before she has decided not to put her mind, body and soul through this again and has decided to go down the holistic route. Unfortunately for Emily the NHS cannot support her financially on this path, she is pretty much left to pay for any treatment on her own, so we decided to help Emily on her holistic journey, to help give her the best quality of life for as long as possible and set up a Go Fund Me page.
For anyone reading this, Emily has very likely been a part of your life, be it as a friend, family, clubber, carer and special Auntie... she has touched so many of us throughout our lives, she’s always there helping, caring and worrying about others, putting others before herself on many many occasions. Let's try and help Emily have quality time by helping her on her journey. Any amount of donation will help. Times are hard for many right now, so if you don’t have any spare money to donate, but can bake a cake, get sponsored to walk or run a mile a day for 30 days (or whatever goal you wish to set), anything you can do to help and support the Go Fund Me Page would be gratefully received.

Many of you have been on this ride with me before and for your support and love I am eternally grateful. Well as you also may know I”m back on that ride with the news that there is short date to my time here. It is secondary breast cancer that has gone to the lungs and as such in conventional medicine my goose is well and truly cooked & will be done in a year unless I do chemo. Life could be extended by treatment for up to 3 years but I will have little quality of life. I've been there before and if my days are shortly numbered I want to live them and as I go heal myself.
I am already following a holistic path with this and I truly believe this is the way to heal cancer once and for all. There are a series of modalities that I will be following and for quite some time, this requires money.
I haven’t worked since 2019 due to cancer treatment followed by the awful year of 2020 which each of us all suffered through and as I returned to work this March yet again I had to stop due to this latest diagnosis. So I’m on the back foot massively with much to do. I have saved £2263 towards my wedding which I have now repurposed for the beginnings of my holistic treatments. That has now gone.
So I humbly ask you, at a time that I know is tough for so-so many, please could you spare a bit of money my way. In return I will do all in my power to do all that I need to heal, to share my journey with and all that I’m learning. This is stuff that we should all have access to, we just need to reach past our fear to do it and I would love to help others as I get through this and share the magic of really truly healing ourselves.
