Emily volunteering in Thailand

Hi, my name is Michele. I am raising funds to help my daughter, Emily, volunteer in Thailand. She will be volunteering for International Language Program, a nonprofit organization. She will be going to Thailand in the fall. She will be going for 3-4 months to teach kids English. She needs funds for the fee, to bring supplies, for expenses she incurs while in Thailand. She will need to purchase special insurance for this trip. Thailand also requires her to have money in her bank account showing she can take care of herself while she is in their country.

Emily is a senior in highschool. She graduates in May and has decided to delay going to college for a semester so she can volunteer. Emily teaches on Sunday mornings, she is a gymnast, she also teaches gymnastics.

Emily will be taking a suitcase full of supplies for teaching, she needs clothing, money for expenses while she is in Thailand and for the fee to go to Thailand. She is responsible for her food on weekends and when she has her one break to explore the country.

All money will go towards purchasing items for trip and expenses while in Thailand. This a an opportunity of a lifetime for her. We are proud that she wants to make a difference. She makes a difference with the kids on Sunday mornings. She makes a difference to the kids who she teaches at the gym. My girl has grown so much. We are proud of the young woman she has become.
