Help me to help myself

Hi, my name is Emily. 

I'm a disabled single mom who needs a hand up. I am

fundraising for my eventual financial independence.

FACTS:

First I must address my current state of poverty.  I have less than 0$ in the bank.  The government reducing benefits and rising costs in everything has put in in a bad spot!  

Contributions will be used to help pay off debts, medical and otherwise, in an attempt to become debt free. 

Actual debt in total is around $5,000 at the most. 

My income from monthly Social Security Disability pays for the basics.  I can live off of it as long as I don't have this debt.  I pay tiny amounts on bills not even covering the interest!

How did I find myself here?  Asking for money from the public?    Answer Below

I made quick discussions based on fear.  I had the help of an unhealthy person who I had let into my life.  He made certain I had nothing left on any credit card by the time I left him.  I had no idea what was happening to money until it was too late.
