Support the Zeida Family

It is with heavy hearts that we mourn the sudden loss of Emily Zeida. She was taken by an unexpected heart attack on the evening of December 6, 2023. She was surrounded by her family when an ambulance was called but, unfortunately, did not make it to the hospital. Mercifully, she was not in pain as she passed.

Emily is survived by her two young children, James (11) and Samantha (7), her husband Rob, mother Ronda Sowden, father Paul Sowden and brother Ben Sowden.

Emily was a kind, generous, creative soul. She took great joy in raising her family with Rob, and was beloved by her students and co-workers at the Global Learning Charter Public School. Emily and Rob started dating in 2007, got married in 2009. Family was deeply important to Emily and right now, her family is hurting. Nothing could have prepared them for such a devastating loss.

This GoFundMe is to help the Zeida family cover funerary expenses as well as any support they may need in the coming months. This is an absolute tragedy, compounded by the holiday season.

I am a close friend of Emily and her family and am organizing this GoFundMe on their behalf and with their blessing, to help ease the burden so they can focus on healing and mourning.

All of the funds go directly to Rob Zeida. I will post updates here as I receive them from Rob.
