Medical & Associated Costs for Emily & Family

Hello, my name is Olivia and I'm fundraising to help my family cover sudden medical expenses and costs associated with my niece's hospital stay while doctors work with her parents to identify and treat a sudden onset of seizures. My niece, Emily, is a 4mo old infant and is being treated at a children's hospital about an hour away from where the family lives in NC.

As we know, our medical system has many barriers, including expensive insurance options with limited coverage, intensely high hospital costs, and unaffordable but necessary treatments/tests/care. This puts many families in incredibly difficult situations as they seek to get essential medical care.

I'm trying to offset some of this financial burden in support of my family so they can focus on treatment and recovery for my precious niece. They have to miss work (unpaid), stay in another city, provide for the family (Emily has 2 brothers, 9 & 14), and cover large medical expenses of necessary care.
