Emily's long COVID medical bills

Hello there, I'm Molly, a friend of Emily's. Emily has been dealing with long covid since April of this year. Many folks still struggle to understand how severe this is for her. She is so fatigued that she can only stand for a few minutes at a time and is unable to do regular daily activities. She also experiences severe brain fog that makes mental activity both difficult and exhausting. The result is that she cannot work more than a few hours a day (all while lying, or occasionally sitting, on the couch), and some days she cannot work at all. In an attempt to regain some of her previous health, she is being seen by specialists who are part of a long covid clinic. She is currently doing physical therapy and cognitive/speech therapy.

As you can imagine these visits cost quite a lot, and she will need care for quite some time. Emily’s deductible and out-of-pocket maximum are quite high. She needs help. I know many of you have already generously given food or donations for food delivery, but we are hoping to help cover these medical bills as well so that she doesn’t have the added mental weight of medical debt hanging over her.
