Emily's Roses

In December 2024, Emily Rose Browning unexpectedly and suddenly passed away. At just 24 years old, the cruelty of her passing has been heartbreaking for all of her family, friends, and everyone who knew her. She was a kind, caring, beautiful young lady who lived life to the full, and the happiness she brought to those who loved her will be forever eternal.

Having graduated from Cardiff University with a Criminology degree in 2021, and a Masters degree in Psychology in 2022, Emily then went on to complete her PGCE qualification in Primary Education. Pursuing her love for teaching, she worked at a wide variety of schools all across South Wales, helping to shape so many young minds along the way. Emily's most recent school, Gladstone Primary, is what sits at the heart of this foundation.

The Headteacher of Emily’s school has a special message to share, detailing the initial plans for how your generous donations will be put to use:

"In Loving Memory of Emily Rose – A Garden of Hope and Learning

We are deeply saddened by the loss of Emily, a beloved teacher at Gladstone, whose kindness, passion, and dedication left a lasting impact on every child, colleague, and parent who had the privilege of knowing her. To honor her memory , we are going to create a memorial garden.

This garden will be a space for reflection, joy, and growth—a place where children can learn through outdoor experiences, and find peace and inspiration. It will reflect Emily's values of nurturing curiosity, creativity, and well-being in every learner.

This foundation has been set up in order to help connect and unite the incredible efforts set out by individuals spread throughout Emily's vast network of friends and family. Those undertaking various challenges in memory of Emily will be able to share their story and raise money via this page. Proceeds can be donated towards an individual person and challenge, or simply to the foundation as a whole.

The combined efforts of all those individuals involved will go towards helping Gladstone Primary School continue in fulfilling Emily’s dream –helping children grow from young seeds into blossoming roses.
