Emma Elise's Music Project

Hey friends! My name is Emma Elise, and I'm a singer/ songwriter from Athens, Georgia. I have been writing songs ever since I can remember, but my songwriting has recently matured alongside the rapid growth that has occurred personally. Writing songs helps me process events and exists as an outlet for me to freely express how I feel as I am experiencing emotions. Throughout the years, I have released a few singles and an EP. I am a full-time student at the University of Georgia, so this passion for recording and sharing my craft has unfortunately taken a back seat. Although this recording process has been held back, I have not stopped writing. Currently, I have seven songs ready to be recorded and shared with the world. This campaign raises funds to cover the costs of recording, mixing, mastering and distributing these songs. I have a few dear friends helping me make this happen, whether they are hired musicians or donating their time freely! Although many of you may not know this about me, I deal with hearing loss, which has made pursuing music a bit more challenging. Since an incident that occurred when I was two years old, I have been completely deaf in my left ear. I have an incredibly supportive community that can help in areas where I admit that I need help. My friend J-Michael will help audibly create the vision I have cast for each song. Music has impacted my life tremendously, and I will never take the ability to partake in such a beautiful craft for granted. When someone hears meaning from lyrics within a song tied up in the emotion that comes from the tune of a song, comfort is experienced. Hearing authentic music reminds people they are not alone.
