Help Emma get to Hollywood!!

Hi, my name is Emma Islas! I am fifteen years old and I currently reside in Orange County, California. Ever since I can remember, all I've done is eat, sleep, and breathe dance. I have been dancing since I was three years old and began competing in 2019. I have trained in many forms of dance including Ballet, Jazz, Musical Theatre, Contemporary, and Lyrical. I have always been extremely passionate towards my dance career and I have put in countless hours over these past years. I have competed in numerous dance competitions and I have earned a few partial scholarships to attend different workshops such as “Hollywood Dance Experience” in Los Angeles, and “New York Dance Experience” in New York. I have also auditioned for the Joffrey Ballet School L.A. summer intensive, and was admitted to a spot to attend. I have recently joined a mentorship program to allow me to gain connections and knowledge regarding the professional dance industry. This mentorship program was difficult to be a part of, for there was quite a bit of an admission process. This upcoming summer in July, I am hoping to be able to attend the Hollywood Summer Tour. The “HST” tour is for pre-professional dancers who aspire to pursue a professional dance career in the near future. The tour is strictly by invitation making it all the more prestigious. I am in close contact with the director of the tour and I received an invite to attend the tour! The downside is that this tour is out of my budget and that is why I am trying to raise money to pursue one of the biggest goals of my life! Any amount is greatly appreciated and will go fully towards the tour.

The Hollywood Summer Tour was founded in 2006 and is an INVITATION ONLY dance intensive for advanced dancers. The dancers must show commitment and dedication to their craft.
