Emma Jean's Medical Expenses

Emma’s journey started way before we even met her. Ali and Donald started trying to conceive right away but when they didn’t get pregnant they sought out help and quickly found out that infertility treatments were the only way they would be able to conceive. After about two years they finally saw positive lines.
Emma was born November 27th 2017 she was perfect in every way. Right away we noticed that she had what looked like bruising on her whole body we all thought maybe it was a result of delivery. It turns out that they were Port Wine Stain (vascular birthmarks), so this started Emma’s journey. At 2 weeks old her doctor visits started with the eye doctor, dermatologist, orthopedic, neurologist, hematologist. After roughly 27 doctors appointments, 2 MRI’s, 2 X-rays, 1 ultra sound, 1 MRA, 1 MRV and many blood tests they have determined that Emma has Factor Five Leiden. We still don’t know exactly what caused the birthmarks but they are a blessing because they helped to find out that Emma has a blood clotting disorder. She will now have to start getting shots twice a day for 3-6months. All of their doctors are down in Miami and they have to travel there frequently. The doctors have noticed that Emma's right arm is smaller than her left. Thus starting a whole new journey trying to find out why this is happening.
