Emma J’s Journey Home
Donation protected
Emma was diagnosed with pleural pulmonary blastoma, a rare type of lung cancer, at the age of 4. She began chemotherapy in April of 2020 and had a successful surgery removing the tumor that summer. After completing treatment the following February doctors found another tumor 6 months later. She underwent surgery and began chemotherapy. Months into treatment another tumor had developed, so chemotherapy was changed and a 3rd surgery performed.
Unfortunately, after 2 thoracotomies, a sternomoty, numerous chemotherapy regimens and radiation the cancer is growing at a rapid rate, has spread and is untreatable.
A month ago Emma showed no signs of disease and now she is being released from the hospital to spend her final days at home with her family.
Any donations will allow the family to spend these final days at home together, and time to grieve once their precious Emma J leaves this world. Being able to provide them with the relief of financial burdens while at home and to help with funeral expenses during this difficult time.
