Emma needs Brain surgery
Donation protected
Hello everyone,
My beautiful friend Emma is going through a really difficult time right now. If you could take the time to read her story and donate towards helping her and the kids, she would be eternally grateful.
Emma is a hard working nurse, a single mother of three and now needing Brain surgery. Emma went to the hospital for numbness in her legs and tingling in her hands on the advice of her GP. What she didn’t expect was to be diagnosed with a rare brain condition that would require brain surgery. Emma is the first person to look after others, even when she has very little herself, she still finds more to assist those in need. Emma will require weeks off work, with no income. Having exhausted her savings earlier this year to care for her sick friend, she now finds herself under immense stresses. Whilst she is keeping a positive attitude in front of her children, the financial stress is adding to the stress of undergoing Posterior Fossa decompression, whereby a part of her skull needs to be removed, exposing her brain. A bone graft will then be placed in her skull. Secondary to her brain surgery, spinal surgery may also be required. Emma works hard to care for others, having worked on a busy Acute ward at a hospital, having time away from her children to care for those facing some of the scariest times of their lives, as well as working as a Disability support worker, Emma now finds herself in the same position as those she has so selflessly given her time and dedication to caring for. Please consider helping Emma and her young children get through this most difficult time.
