Emma with loss of home during Lahaina Wildfires

Hello, My name is Montana. My best friend, Emma, just lost her home in the Lahaina wildfires on August 8th. She is one among many who have lost their home, job and livelihood in the structure fire's devastation. Many community members were forced to evacuate their homes with only a few minutes or less to prepare.

I am so grateful Emma is safe and non-injured, as she has been visiting me off-island, but it was a long night of no contact with neighbors and friends whose powerlines were destroyed in the fire's wake. We received little-to-no update until very late, only to find out her entire island hometown of Lahaina had been completely burned to ash. She will return with no house, no clothes, no car and a loss of momentos and memories.

I'm hoping to source direct funds from the community, family members and friends in order to help Emma replace, rebuild and find ease as she navigates her return home to this tragic loss that has left her with nothing. All money donated will go directly to Emma.
