Emma & Ziggy - House Fire Recovery!
Donation protected
On March 29th, a faulty wiring issue started a fire in Emma’s house (in her bedroom) while she was at work. Thankfully, one of her roommates was home, downstairs, and noticed smoke coming down and ran up/opened the door - at which point, her sweet (very scared) Ziggy escaped out the front door and ran off.
As you can imagine, getting this call was terrifying - she rushed home to find the Fire Department finishing up putting out the fire and that a kind neighbor has rescued Ziggy and was keeping him safe (which we’re so grateful for).
Unfortunately, as you may know - putting out fires = LOTS of water!! The damage was extensive and all of her belongings are ruined!
They’ve deemed the home non-livable and she’ll need to figure out so much.
Of course, we will be helping however we can. But, we wanted to create this to help share the burden of her rebuilding and because we know so many people love her and would want to help in some way!
Thank you!
