Emmanuel Agorsah Family

Hello family and friends, the Agorsah family suffered an enormous and untimely loss of Father, husband and professor Dr. Emmanuel Kofi Agorsah on 08/3/2022. Dr. Agorsah was 78 years old.

As some of you may know, Dr. Agorsah suffered several years battling cancer. He underwent chemotherapy and had multiple surgeries to remove tumors from his stomach and kidney area. These treatments went well but as he was recovering back in his home country Ghana, he suffered major complications. He spent several weeks in and out of the hospital. In the first week of August, he was rushed back to the hospital due to an infection to the side where he had the surgery and while receiving treatment, he passed on to his heavenly father.

He is survived by his wife Monica, sons Patrick and Delali, daughter Yaavic (Victoria), son Maxwell, 8 grandchildren, one great-grandchild, countless students that he taught, friends, and colleagues around the world. He will be sorely missed.

A tribute to Professor Agorsah will be held on Saturday, September 24, 2022, at 12 noon, on the campus of Portland State University in Portland, Oregon. His funeral will be held in Kete Krachi, Ghana in the first week of October.
