Emma’s Emergency Room Fund

On Saturday Emma woke up lethargic, couldn’t keep food down, didn’t want to eat, and didn’t want to drink water. She was warm to the touch. When attempted to be given plain chicken her legs gave out. She was taken to the ER Vet where she was found to be running a temperature of 105. She was minimally responsive and had been sleeping all day. They are currently running tests to figure out where the infection is. The amount reflects their quote of a 2 night stay to stabilize her.
If you’ve had the pleasure of meeting Emma you know that she is the kindest, gentlest soul. She got me through some extremely dark moments, including my fathers death. She loves everyone she comes in contact with and it pains me to see her like this. The vet is confident she can be stabilized, but it will take a few days of them monitoring and caring for her. I am not one to ever ask for money or help, but my fear is not being able to pay for any residual care she may need after exhausting my funds on her ER care.
I hope I can do the same for anyone in the future. Thank you.
