Emma's Medical Fund
Donation protected
On July 5, 2015, after a week of flu like symptoms, Emma Coggins was diagnosed with Leukemia.
The average cost for treatment of a chid with ALL is $105K, that's only for treatment, that does not include the er visits and hospital stays that become necessary. Insurance covers about 80%, but it doesnt cover the lost pay due to missed work, it doesnt cover co-pays and cost of medical supplies, it surely does not cover the mortgage, utilities, car payments, groceries...
This campaign was set up to try to help Emma's mommy & daddy offset the additional cost.
No parent should ever have to decide between being with their sick child or earning a living.
For those of us that want to help and are able to, the best thing we can do is continue to share Emma's story, and when able, donate to the family. All funds raised though this campaign go straight to Emma's mommy & daddy.
Let's continue to work together to raise money for this amazing family so that the only thing they have to concentrate on is helping Emma feel better. Emma is strong and she will beat this. She will triumph!
