Emmeline's 50th Fundraiser - Capital Ring Walk
This year I turn 50, and to mark the half-century not out, I am going to do the Capital Ring Walk - a 78-mile loop of 15 walks within London. I am aiming to complete it in as short a time as possible (travel times allowing!). You would be very welcome to join me on any of the walks!
I am raising money for the Ace of Clubs charity based in south London, an open-access outreach project helping homeless and vulnerable people in the local community. Its centre helps people in desperate circumstances with safety, food, warmth, clothing, laundry and showers. And it then works with them to link in with a wide range of services, including accommodation, welfare, rehab, training, healthcare and many others. Its mission is to get people back on their feet and feel hope for the future. This is a difficult time for many people, especially those living on the streets and any amount you can donate will be put to very good use by this small charity.
