Emmie, Tyler and Wes Memorial

Donation protected

Thursday, February 24th, 2022, started like any other beautiful day in the Fontus and Dolce household. The two older girls headed off to school, and mom headed off to her office She Shed, as she calls it, to begin another workday while Emmie and Tyler stayed home with dad.

Emmie was five years old and a kindergartener at Beacon Hill Preparatory School. She was the light of every room. Emmie was already an avid reader, excellent swimmer and a blooming artist who loved to paint, always creating another masterpiece. She was a princess and model in training, always ready with the perfect pose for every picture.

Tyler, at two years old, loved to play and dance. He would ride his little scooter all over the house and call out to Mom or Dad, “Look!” every time he did or saw something he thought was interesting. When Tyler looked at you with those bright eyes and smile, he captured your heart.

At the head of this home of 5 children was Jean Wisly Fontus – Wes. Wes was the life of every party. He made everyone’s home his own, but more importantly, he opened his home and his heart to all who knew him. But his greatest asset was his children. More than anything else, he was a loving father devoted to his children in an inspiring way.

After breakfast, playtime and lunch, like any other day, Wes, Emmie and Tyler went for their last swim together in the family's pool. We imagine that they played in the pool, Emmie and Tyler climbing onto and splashing water at dad as always. At some point, something happened that caused that fun time to come to a sudden end. We may never know how, and we will surely never understand why, but we are comforted in knowing that Dad, Emmie, and Tyler are together in Heaven in the loving hands of God.

We ask for your continued prayers and support for the family and for their mother, Anne Marie. She is the definition of a supermom and provider, their older sisters Olivia and Isabella, students at Hollywood Academy of Arts and Sciences and Teyon, a freshman at Vanderbilt University in Nashville, Tennessee.
As you can imagine, we were not, and no one should ever be, prepared for such a tragic and devastating loss. We are asking for your support and generosity to assist the family with funeral expenses. Nothing can ever ease the pain and burden the family is enduring, but we hope that our friends, family, and community will come together to help the family say farewell. Please donate what you are able as this load is too heavy to bear alone. May God bless you, and we thank God for you. Thank you once again.
