EMMY'S OBITUARY
Emmy Elizabeth Bostick passed away on Saturday, January 4, 2020 at Texas Children's Hospital in Houston Texas. She was born Thursday, July 19, 2018 in Monroe Louisiana to her loving parents, Chase and Jourdan Jurek Bostick, her brother Denver, and her sister Mere Elle.
Emmy was born with a genetic liver disease (PFIC 2). God blessed Emmy with a new liver on April 1st, 2019. Emmy fought the good fight and kept a smile on her sweet face and in her heart through it all. She spoke louder than words without making a sound. Not only did Emmy touch our hearts but our souls as well. She was our little miracle.
Emmy absolutely loved to play with her brother and sister who will have precious memories of their sweet Emmy girl. She loved to play the guitar with her Dada and was his "gurl". Dancing and cuddling with her momma was one of Emmy's favorite things. What a blessing Emmy was to so many people.
Emmy was honored by so many people with so many acts of kindness. One of these many honors was being crowned Queen of the 2020 Krewe De Life Royalty Court presented by the Louisiana Organ Procurement Agency.
Emmy loved her family deeply and is survived by parents, Chase and Jourdan Bostick, big brother, Denver, big sister, Mere Elle; Papa C, Chuck Jurek; Keke and Pop Pop, Kaye and Andy Pyles; Meme and Papaw, Cecelia and Butch Bostick; Juney and Ronnie, June and Ronald Melton; Also loving Emmy, Brooke, Paul, and Chloe Maher; Chastity, Chad, and Chesnie Daigle, Gabe White, Trent Williams, Seneca and Scarlett Bostick, Tristan Wiley; Bryce and Brett Jurek; Sue, Steve and Andrew Duplantis, Claire, Jacob, and Zach Williams; Troy, Sharona, Emily Kate, Mila, and Abby Jurek; Justin, Whitney, Braylon, and Cash Jurek; Johnny, Crissy, Maddie, and Bree Jurek; Karen and Brent Hubbard; Micah, Amanda, Harper, and Hallie Jo Hubbard, Karly David, and Grayson Stewart; Tyler Pyles and Dustin Hemperley; and so many more.
Emmy's parents and family are truly amazed and humbled by the outpouring of love and prayers for this sweet child. May God bless each of you. We will always love and remember our sweet Emmy girl.
Funeral Services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Thursday, January 9, 2020 at the First Baptist Church of Winnfield with Reverends Lori Spangler, Steven Smithson, and Allan Eppinette officiating. Interment will follow in the Garden of Memories Cemetery in Winnfield under the direction of Southern Funeral Home.
Friends may visit with the family at First Baptist Church on Wednesday from 5:30 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. and on Thursday at the church from 12:30 p.m. until 1:45 p.m.
