Employees of Chef Geoff's Restaurant Group

Team - Your generosity has been overwhelming and inspiring. We started this fund hoping to raise $10,000 and thanks to all of you we have raised nearly $50,000. Your donations have provided our employees and their families with desperately needed cash that has kept them going during one of the more difficult periods in their lives. So, on behalf of the nearly 100 hourly employees who already received two rounds of checks, thank you from the bottom of my heart. The final disbursement will go out Monday.  Geoff and I are working to commemorate your generosity in our restaurants. You all will be a part of Chef Geoff's for as long as we can keep cooking. 

One more note, this week we received very exciting news. We received a loan through the Paycheck Protection Program that will enable us to pay all of our employees for the next 8 weeks. It is truly a blessing. In addition to offering Take Out and Delivery at Chef Geoff's and LIA'S, starting Monday, we will be opening up two Chef Geoff's Pop Up Kitchen in the West End and on Capitol Hill (chefgeoffspopup.com). Given this development, we will be closing this fund as of today. What happens after these eight weeks remains anyone's guess but whatever happens, we will never forget your outpouring of love and support.
