Dear Friends, Family, and Generous Individuals,
Eid Mubarak for you all no matter where you are, I hope this message finds you well amidst these hardships. I am writing to you with a bleeding heart unwilling to leave it's homeland, seeking you support and assistance to evaluate my lovely city.
I have spent the onset of the war in my city, Gaza, in northern parts of Gaza stirp, lived a new nightmare with each new sunrise, the more I have lived during the war the more overwhelmed I felt with each sunrise. Seeing my city gets destroyed day by day, my memories vanish, and our tomorrow going blurry gradually.
As you all know, not a single word was taught since the start of the war, and as a student who always worked harder than he did the day before. Since I became in 9th grade, I joined a coding program called Code of Palestine, and that was my first step into the coding world. With all it's magic, coding made me view the world from new perspectives and fall in love with it.
After spending 2 years in Code for Palestine, I started problem solving, a few months later I joined my first contest, the PCPC. The PCPC, it's full name, is an annual national contest for college students where they solve programming solving questions. I joined this contest twice, and secured the first place on Gaza Strip twice, and the fifth on Palestine's once.
Other than coding, I have been working on enhancing other soft and hard skills, including my English skills, I am a proud alumni of the Access scholarship run by the amideast, to help low-income students learn English. Opening doors for countless opportunities for personal and professional growth.
I cleared the window to my future until it became crystal clear, yet just as I started my college journey, this window was shattered to pieces during the war. However, I will collect those pieces back and rebuild that window with your help to evaluate my family and I to Egypt. With your help, I will be able to start my college journey in Egypt, and my sister, an aspiring engineer, will be able to finish her last year of studies.
Our dreams and tomorrow are at a risk of falling apart. Therefore, I am reaching out to you with a humble plea for assistance. I initiated this Gofund.me campaign aiming at gathering financial aid for our evaluation. Help my family, Al-Khatib's family, and our dreams evaluate out of Gaza to Egypt. The escalating conflict has made it increasingly difficult for us to remain in our homeland, and our only hope for safety and a chance at a brighter future lies in relocating to a more stable environment.
The cost for evaluation of a male is $8000, and the cost for evaluation of a female is $5000. My family is made out of 3 male members and 2 female members, and a male cat, Oreo hope the cost for his evaluation is $0, this is a total of $34000. Finally there is a $1000 fees for the Gofund.me website itself. This makes it $35000 us safely. Your generous contributions will not only enable us to escape the horrors of war but will also empower me to pursue my college education and support my sister in completing her final year of studies.
I understand that these are challenging times for everyone, and any amount you can spare, no matter how small, will make a meaningful difference in our lives. Your kindness and compassion in our time of need will forever be cherished and remembered.
Please consider donating to our cause and sharing our story with your networks. Together, we can bring hope and light to a family in dire need of assistance.
