Empower Amaris Almeida's Transition and Stability

Hi all!! Some of you may know me already, though others i’m still getting to know myself! My name is Amaris Almeida, and I am a Transgender woman living in CT! In June of 2023 I began HRT and it completely changed my life, i’m as happy as i could ever wish for, and i’m surrounded by the most loving chosen family! I’m creating this fundraiser to help with not only my transition, but with finding stable housing, and a now a new car. Any bit helps, and if you cannot donate a share goes a super large way!

Currently I am living with my parents in a very unhealthy/unsafe environment as they do not accept me for who I am, it’s very heartbreaking having hide every part of my identity around them. I haven’t spoken to my father in over a year yet he has tried to kick me out multiple times, though luckily I have my mom who does try her best. 

In july of 2024 I got into a pretty serious car accident, there were only minor injuries (some scratches, swollen finger, & bruising) to myself and the other person was safe! So unfortunately I don’t have a method of transportation to get to work & my shows.

This past year has been filled with several ups and downs but I have an incredible support system behind me and I will come out stronger!
