Empower and Support Kamryn Johnson's Forensic Science Dream
Donation protected
Hello, everyone. My name is Kamryn Johnson, and I am a junior at Douglas MacArthur high school who wishes to get experience in my future career field of forensic science. There is a forensics camp in Washington, DC organized by the National Student Leadership Conference and it requires a down payment before I can even apply for scholarships. I wanted to make this GoFundMe in the hopes it will enable me to go because the scholarship, in the event that I receive it, will only cover 1/4 of the total cost.
Firstly, I wanted to say that every donation matters no matter how small, and I am appreciative to every single one of you. Thank you.
The donations would cover my transportation to Washington, DC, along with housing, meals, and daily necessities.
I will not let your donations go to waste. I have been a High Honor Roll student since Kindergarten and currently hold a 4.9/5.0 GPA. I am well integrated with my community and have a total of 195.5 community service hours. I was also able to become a Certified Nursing Assistant in the state of Illinois at the age of sixteen years old. Currently, I juggle four dual enrollment college classes and three AP classes which has propelled me into joining the Phi Theta Kappa Honors Society and the National Honors Society. All together, I feel these actions can illustrate my resilience and commitment regarding my education.
Once again, thank you for your time and consideration.
