Empower Ariana's Journey for Her Sons' Future

Donation protected
Hi all-

Nine years ago, DEA lost an amazing agent to brain cancer.

When Marc Marshall passed away, he was only 45-years-old. He left behind his wife, Ariana, and their three small boys who were 3, 5, and 7.

Prior to coming to DEA, Marc was a Marine and a police officer. At the time of his death, the DEA survivor fund was able to provide some support to his family, however they were not eligible for total death benefits as his cancer was not linked to line of duty.

DEA as an agency has always been incredible at taking care of our own. We have an opportunity now to help Marc’s family that will honor his legacy and our longstanding creed.

Ariana, Marc’s wife, has been a teacher for many years; most recently in special education. Marc’s boys are now 16, 14, and 12. As each of them turn 18, their social security payments end. A teacher’s salary will not compensate for that amount.

In light of this, Ariana made the decision to change careers. She is currently enrolled in an 18-month program at Pima Medical Institute. She is scheduled to complete the program on March 3, 2026, which will be two months before Marc’s oldest son turns 18.

The total cost of the program is $38,000. While Ariana has applied for loans and scholarships, she is in need of bridging the gap.

I am reaching out to any DEA employees who knew Marc and asking for contributions for Ariana. Nine years later, this is a way that DEA can continue to stand with her in a meaningful way and show that Marc is still not forgotten.

Please contribute as you are able, and share.
