Empower Ashley Lai on Her Taekwondo Odyssey

I hope this message finds you well. I am reaching out to share an exciting journey that my daughter, Ashley, a dedicated 12-year-old Taekwondo blackbelt at the impressive 3rd dan level, is about to embark on.

Ashley has been selected to represent our community at three prestigious Taekwondo events that hold great significance in her journey as a martial artist. In February, she will be competing in the Taekwondo Canada Open in Vancouver, followed by the Taekwondo Nationals in Winnipeg in March. What's even more remarkable is that, if she secures victory at Nationals, she has the incredible opportunity to participate in the World Taekwondo Championship in Asia during late 2024.

This journey is not just about competitions; it's about pushing boundaries, striving for excellence, and fostering a spirit of discipline, perseverance, and sportsmanship. Ashley has worked tirelessly to reach the 3rd dan blackbelt level, and her commitment to Taekwondo is truly commendable.

However, embarking on this journey comes with significant financial commitments. The costs for these trips, including flights, accommodation, and other essential expenditures, are entirely self-funded, as our country does not provide sponsorship for such endeavors.

Taekwondo Canada Open in Vancouver: $3,500

Taekwondo Nationals in Winnipeg: $2,700

World Taekwondo Championship in Asia: $6,000
