We are a passionate group of students from the University of South Florida, dedicated to empowering and supporting the children of in Awutu-Bawjiase, Ghana through different intitiaves. Join us in making a meaningful difference in the lives of the children at a Ghanaian orphanage!
Firstly, we're focusing on empowering girls by providing comprehensive sexual and menstrual health education. Through workshops and hands-on sessions, we aim to instill confidence and break down gender barriers. Additionally, we'll be creating reusable menstrual products together, ensuring sustainability and accessibility.
In tandem, we're committed to addressing crucial needs such as nutrition, clean water, and education. Our biomedical sciences majors align with our goal to promote health and well-being, encompassing UN Sustainable Development Goals 3, 4, and 6.
Summer, Leah, and Gen are spearheading efforts to promote clean water consumption through personalized bottles and a community garden. By fostering ownership and responsibility, we're nurturing healthy habits while encouraging creativity through a garden club.
Meanwhile, Joshua, Joanna, Paula, and Aaliyah are enhancing the orphanage's library and implementing leadership programs. Through engaging lectures and interactive sessions, we're equipping these children with essential skills and knowledge for their future.
Your support means everything to us! Donations will fund materials for menstrual products, garden supplies, educational resources, and leadership program implementation. Together, let's empower these children and create lasting positive change. Thank you for joining us on this heartfelt journey!
