Empower Brittany with a Life-Changing Van

Hi y’all! My name is Chloe. My sister’s name is Brittany. Brittany was born with cerebral palsy. She has been handicapped her entire

life. My mom and dad have taken care of her, her entire life. She cannot do anything physical without my mom/dad’s help. At one point and time she was able to walk around with a walker and with help, she was able to go the restroom, take a shower, she was more active. However in 2012 she had two massive strokes and her physical abilities were diminished. She has not been able to walk around or do anything since then without someone helping her. My parents are in their 50s now. They have an old beat up truck that doesn’t have ac, and that my dad has to physically lift my sister into. You might say not too bad, my sister is easily 220 lbs dead weight. That’s a lot of strain on my dad’s back every single time they have to go somewhere. It also doesn’t help that my parents are physically incapable of going to work due to health issues. Thankfully, my sister was approved for modifications on a van so long as we provide one. If we were to get a van, they will make it to where it will have a ramp and a spot for my sister to ride in. This would be a tremendous help on not only my dad but my sister as well. She doesn’t get to go to places because it’s too much to load her and unload her, if we had a van to where she could just roll up into it, she would be more free to come along to places again. We are raising money for a van, yes, but also for my dads health and for my sisters mental health. She would no longer feel as left out as she does and it wouldn’t be so trying to get her to her doctors appointments. It would help prolong my parents and my sisters life. We are asking you to please make that possible!
